The POCO F7 series will officially launch this week at a global event in Singapore — and yes, we’ll be on the ground to cover it.
We already have the top-of-the-line POCO F7 Ultra in for review. Let’s just say, performance-wise, it’s turning heads.
Before the review embargo hits, we’ve been given the green light to share some of the specs on the performance side, as well as some benchmarks and gameplay footage we’ve recorded on our unit.
The leaks were spot on: The POCO F7 Ultra rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, a legit flagship chip. This is huge for the brand. Not only is this its first “Ultra” phone (previously, the top-shelf model was given the “Pro” moniker), but it’s also the first time the company has matched Xiaomi‘s main flagship silicon. We’re talking the same chipset inside the Xiaomi 15 series, paired with up to a generous 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The POCO F7 Pro? It’s settling for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, still fast, but last-gen.

Check out how the POCO F7 Ultra did in our performance test!
Our early benchmarks, showcased in the “performance test” video we embedded above, are impressive. Though, weirdly enough, our vanilla Xiaomi 15 with 12GB of RAM edged it out in some tests. Go figure.
Where the POCO F7 Ultra shines brightest, though, is gaming — in particular, PC gaming. And while this flagship is capable of comfortably handling the most demanding Android games out there, including Bright Memory and Grid Legends, it can also play AAA PC titles like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade using a PC emulator. Yup, full-on PC gaming, on a phone (that probably won’t cost an arm and a leg, mind you). In 2025. This isn’t a drill. We’ve arrived!
The POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro are officially launching on March 27. We’re still putting the Ultra version through its paces, so expect a full review soon.
