HONOR Philippines just added a new model to its popular X series of smartphones, following the local launch of the HONOR X8c.
Aimed at younger users who “demand more” from their smartphones, the just-launched device combines powerful camera specs and AI-driven features with a robust and trendy design available in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Marrs Green colors.
Preorders are now live both online and in physical stores across the Philippines. The price tag is set at P13,999, or roughly $244 converted, for the lone configuration offering 8GB of physical RAM and a seriously generous 512GB of internal storage. That storage spec matches last year’s HONOR X8b, its predecessor. Early birds get a free Bluetooth speaker with each purchase of the HONOR X8c.

Like the previous generation, durability is a big part of the story here, with an IP64 rating promising resistance to dust, water splashes, and rain. The 6.7-inch AMOLED flat display is another headliner, pushing 2,800 nits peak brightness and boasting bezels that are practically nonexistent for this price point. That bottom bezel, usually a chunky eyesore, is nearly gone, giving the panel a uniform edge-to-edge look and a claimed 93.7% screen-to-body ratio.
Around the back, the 108-megapixel main image sensor leads the camera setup. It’s backed by a 5-megapixel ultrawide and a depth sensor. Selfies are handled by a 50-megapixel front-facing camera tucked into a pill-shaped cutout.
Other notable specs of the HONOR X8c include a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chip paired with Adreno 610 graphics, a beefed-up 5,000mAh battery with 35-watt fast wired charging, and the brand’s MagicOS 9.0, built on Android 15.
