We finally have a date. Xiaomi has confirmed that its latest flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 15 series, will be making its grand entrance onto the global stage on March 2. That’s a day before Mobile World Congress 2025 officially opens in Barcelona, Spain.
Bear in mind that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro launched in China last quarter. Both models debuted Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 5G chipset, boast a Leica-powered camera system, and run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

Remember the date! We at Revü Philippines will be in Barcelona for MWC 2025
The standard version sports a 6.36-inch OLED display with minimal bezels and a 5,500mAh battery with 90-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging. It has a Leica-powered 50-megapixel triple-camera system and a 32-megapixel front shooter. The Pro variant, on the other hand, features a larger 6.73-inch 2K display, a 6,100mAh battery, and an upgraded periscope-style telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. But this one might not make it to international markets, similar to last year.
What could be more interesting is the global launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was showcased at MWC 2024, so we’re pretty sure we’ll see the most premium member of the Xiaomi 15 series at the world’s biggest mobile-focused convention.

How the Xiaomi 15 Ultra allegedly looks
According to the latest leak, the global edition of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor as well. It features a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz — protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 — and includes a 5,410mAh battery with 90-watt wired, 80-watt wireless, and 10-watt reverse wireless charging.
Running on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0, the device is said to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, dual SIM-card slots, and Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2. It is also IP68-certified for water and dust resistance.
The showstopper here is the rear camera system co-engineered with Leica. The setup on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra supposedly includes a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony LYT-900 sensor), a 50-megapixel ultrawide (Samsung JN5 sensor), a 50-megapixel telephoto unit (Sony IMX858 sensor, 3x optical zoom), and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (Samsung HP9 sensor, 4.3x optical zoom).

The Chinese version is already up for blind preorder, with a release scheduled for the end of February.
Will all models become available in the Philippines? If we base it on Xiaomi’s strategy in 2024, only the regular model will be offered locally. Keep in mind that only the Xiaomi 14 was released here, and it came with a starting price of ₱45,999 (around $797).
