Meet Xiaomi‘s first smartphone this year.

The company has just launched the Redmi Turbo 4 in China, the world’s first device to boast the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra. The first “all big core” chip for premium phones brings flagship-level performance to a price many can actually afford. And Xiaomi didn’t hold back — the Turbo 4 is loaded with up to 16GB RAM and a massive 512GB of storage.

On the front, the newly announced model features a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. Don’t worry about scratches, because Corning Gorilla Glass 7i keeps the screen protected.

Talking about toughness, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, this phone is built to withstand the elements. Take it anywhere, do anything — the Redmi Turbo 4 can handle it.

There’s a dual-camera setup on the back here that features a 50-megapixel main Sony LYT6600 camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens. And for selfies, there’s a 20-megapixel front shooter.

Battery life won’t be an issue with the Android 15-based Redmi Turbo 4, thanks to its massive 6,550mAh battery. It also supports 90-watt wired fast charging, so you can quickly top up your battery and get back to your day.

And it’s nice to know that this one’s quite a looker. It sports a 2.5D frame with a glass body and plastic side frames, giving it a premium feel. The back of the smartphone features a vertical camera module reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 16, adding a touch of familiarity with a unique twist. The device is available in three color options: Lucky Cloud White, Shallow Sea Blue, and Shadow Black.
