Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi 14C 5G globally.

The official release date is set for January 6, marking a significant milestone for the brand as it introduces the 5G model to the world. The launch event’s happening in India, so it is a global and local debut all in one.

Remember the Redmi 14C 4G that came out in August? Well, this new 5G version is basically building on that, but with better connectivity and features. Redmi’s keeping the full specs under wraps for now, but from the images on Xiaomi’s website, it looks just like the 4G variant. One thing they have confirmed is a 50-megapixel main camera, promising exceptional photo quality.

Besides looking cool, the Redmi 14C 5G has dual 5G SIM support, meaning faster and more reliable connections. Think speeds up to 2.5Gbps. That’s perfect for smooth video calls, quick downloads, lag-free gaming, and easy livestreaming. The smartphone’s Starlight design is inspired by the beauty and power of the cosmos, adding a touch of elegance to its robust functionality.

Announcement of the Redmi 14C 5G’s global and Indian launch date

From what we’ve heard before, the Redmi 14C 5G might have a 6.88-inch HD+ 120Hz screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It could also have a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, and a large 5,160mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging.

If you’re based in India, you’ll be able to grab the Redmi 14C 5G from places like Flipkart, mi.com, and regular stores, so it will be pretty easy to find. But will it arrive in the Philippines? There’s a chance it will, because the LTE model was released here — and at a price that started at P4,999 (around $86) at launch.
