The successor to the POCO X6 series, the aptly named POCO X7 series, will go official globally on January 9. It will be launched in the Philippines on January 9, too, as seen on listings we found on Lazada and Shopee.
We’re not entirely sure if both the POCO X7 5G and the POCO X7 Pro 5G are hitting the local market. Lazada’s only showing the Pro version, but POCO’s official Shopee Mall store has two mystery SKUs listed, which could mean both variants will go on sale soon.
POCO X7 5G rumored specs
The standard POCO X7 5G is rumored to sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, rocking that buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and the durability of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, it’s packing a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and a hefty 512GB of storage.
It’s also got an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, so you can feel a little less worried about accidental spills. A 5,110mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging should keep you juiced up, while the camera setup boasts a 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization and 2x in-sensor zoom, plus a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
In the Philippines, the previous-gen POCO X6 5G was priced from P14,999 (around $259 converted), so expect something in that ballpark. The top-tier model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage was P17,999 ($311).
POCO X7 Pro 5G rumored specs
As for the Pro model, this thing is rumored to be the Redmi Turbo 4‘s international doppelganger, powered by a souped-up MediaTek Dimensity 8400 — with Xiaomi slapping an “Ultra” on the end to make it sound faster. This will make it the first device outside of China to rock the Dimensity 8400 chip, which is notable for its “all big core CPU” arrangement in a mid-tier phone.

How the POCO X7 Pro 5G looks
The POCO X7 Pro 5G shares the same screen size and refresh rate as its sibling, but its display is said to hit an impressive 3,200 nits of peak brightness, and it’s protected by a sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The main camera’s a 50-megapixel affair with OIS, too, featuring a Sony IMX882 image sensor and the ability to record 4K video at 60fps with dual OIS and EIS. It’s also got the same IP68 rating and rocks a 6,000mAh battery with a 90-watt fast wired charging. POCO claims the smartphone will go from zero to 100% in 42 minutes, which, if true, is pretty incredible given the battery capacity we’re expecting.
The POCO X6 Pro 5G started at P16,999 ($294), with the maxed-out version hitting P19,999 ($346). It’s safe to expect the POCO X7 Pro 5G to follow in its footsteps.
