OPPO Reno13 Series 5G global launch: Preorders open in Malaysia; India next

The OPPO Reno13 Series 5G, first unveiled in China back in November, is finally making its way to the global stage. Malaysia is apparently first in line, with preorders opening for the Reno13 Pro, Reno13, and a 5G-enabled Reno13 F until January 10, 2025.

But don’t worry, the rest of the world, perhaps including the Philippines, won’t be far behind. In China, the OPPO Reno13 Pro is priced from ¥3,399 (around $465 or P27,316), while the base Reno13 starts at ¥2,699 (around $370 or P21,690). Global pricing is still under wraps, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

While Malaysia’s enjoying early access, OPPO has already confirmed that India will be getting the new smartphone lineup soon, with other markets likely to follow. Given that the Reno11 series hit the Philippines in February of this year, we wouldn’t be surprised to see any one of the Reno13 models land here in the first quarter of 2025.

Malaysian OPPO fans can get some sweet preorder deals, including hefty vouchers and free Enco Air4 or Enco Buds2 earphones. The company’s also throwing in a one-year screen and liquid-protection plan, a multi-region warranty, and free gifts worth up to RM2,266 ($505 or P29,637). Not too shabby.

The specs of the Reno13 series for global markets haven’t been confirmed yet, but OPPO’s hyping up the Reno13 series’ AI-powered camera features, like AI Livephoto and AI Editor, promising next-level photography for the social-savvy generation. And with Android 15 and ColorOS 15 running the show, these phones should be buttery-smooth and packed with the latest software goodies.

Additionally, the Reno13 series offers enhanced durability with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring performance and reliability in just about any environment.
