The HONOR Magic7 Pro is making its way out of China.
After a successful launch in its home country last month, HONOR has announced that this flagship phone will be landing in Malaysia on January 9, 2025. It seems like only the Pro version will be making the trip, leaving the standard Magic7 behind.
If the Malaysian version is anything like the one launched in China, we’re in for a treat. Expect an IP69 rating, meaning the HONOR Magic7 Pro offers exceptional durability against dust and water ingress. Plus, HONOR has included its own AI deepfake detection technology, so you can feel extra safe during video calls.
In a world where appearances can deceive, what you see & hear may not be real.

A feature to expect from the HONOR Magic7 Pro
Expect a massive 6.8-inch 1080p LTPO OLED display with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, too. It will be bright, boasting up to 1,600 nits of brightness for everyday use and a whopping 5,000 nits for HDR content.
Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with all the bells and whistles like 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. And keeping the lights on is a hefty 5,850mAh battery that supports both 100-watt wired and 80-watt wireless charging.
Camera-wise, the Magic7 Pro is no slouch. It rocks a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization for sharp shots, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens for those epic landscapes, and an incredible 200-megapixel periscope lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. Selfies? Covered. There’s a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with auto-focus. To top it off, you get both a 3D facial scanner and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking.
We’ll have to wait until the official launch for the HONOR Magic7 Pro’s price. But considering the Magic6 Pro debuted at RM4,499 (around P59,411 in Philippine pesos and $1,010 in U.S. dollars), we can expect something in that ballpark.
