vivo‘s latest Y series model is making its debut in the Philippines.
According to the company, the vivo Y19s is launching locally on November 16. We won’t be surprised if it will turn heads with its Pearl Silver variant that shimmers with rainbow hues, though keep in mind that it’s also released in Glacier Blue and Glossy Black if those colors are more your style.
The vivo Y19s boasts an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and an SGS 5-star drop-resistant rating, so you can feel confident taking it anywhere. Plus, with a massive 5,500mAh battery with 15-watt fast-charging support, you can keep the fun going all day long.
The smartphone also features a 6.68-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 12nm Unisoc T612 4G processor, a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU, and an Android 14-based user interface. For photography enthusiasts, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera with a depth sensor to help you take photos. For selfies, the 5-megapixel front cam has you covered.
And here’s the inside scoop: We spotted the vivo Y19s on local retailer Aerophone’s online store with a potential price tag of P8,499 (around $145) for the 8GB/256GB version and P6,499 ($111) for the 4GB/128GB configuration. These leaked prices are fairly consistent with what we’re seeing in other countries. For instance, in Malaysia, the 8GB/256GB unit is going for RM599 (P7,915). Still, it’s best to wait for the brand’s official confirmation on November 16.
