Under the hood, the TECNO SPARK 30 5G packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, the same silicon powering the OPPO Reno12 F 5G we reviewed a couple of months ago. Built on a 6nm process, this octa-core processor blends performance-focused Cortex-A76 cores with efficiency-minded Cortex-A55 cores. That said, expect a fluid everyday experience, with enough grunt to handle casual gaming without issues. Even graphically demanding titles like Genshin Impact should be playable at lower to medium settings.

Another highlight is the main camera. The SPARK 30 5G uses a 108-megapixel image sensor at the back. And because megapixels clearly weren’t enough, TECNO has also thrown in a mini ring light with not one, not two, but three LEDs. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel shooter alongside a dual-color flash module.
