Confirmed: The follow-up to the well-received Reno12 series, which launched in the Philippines last July, will officially make its debut next month.
OPPO will announce its latest Reno13 smartphones at an event scheduled for November 25 in China, though the company has already opened preorders for the lineup. Teaser images suggest the upcoming Reno13 series, which will likely include the OPPO Reno13 and OPPO Reno 13 Pro, is ditching the curves and flowing lines of its predecessor for an unapologetically iPhone-esque aesthetic.
Expect to see flatter displays than what we’ve seen on the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro, symmetrical bezels, and yes, even a wider notch, obviously drawing inspiration from modern Apple iPhone models. In addition, the OPPO Reno13 and OPPO Reno13 Pro feature angular frames and a triple-camera setup in a rectangular module, just like the latest iPhones.
New teasers compare the Oppo Reno 13 series to the iPhone 16 series.

The aesthetic shift, while perhaps unexpected, aligns with the brand’s recent moves. The Find X8, the company’s flagship line, also adopted a flatter, more boxy look this year, prompting comparisons to Apple’s design language for its smartphones. It seems OPPO is streamlining its design philosophy across its device portfolio, and we’re completely fine with that.
In terms of specs, the OPPO Reno13 promises a compelling package. The vanilla version is rumored to boast a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset is expected, though the exact chip model remains a mystery. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50-megapixel selfie camera and a triple-lens rear setup, headlined by another 50-megapixel image sensor. And to keep the lights on, a massive 5,600mAh battery is reportedly in tow.

But what about the Pro variant? Details are scarcer, but rumors point to a larger 6.83-inch micro-quad-curved display with the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh. The real star of the show could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, potentially making the OPPO Reno13 Pro the first smartphone to sport this new chip.
A beefier 5,900mAh battery with wired and wireless charging support is also on the cards. And if the leaks are true, the Pro’s camera system might be a force to be reckoned with, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel periscope-telephoto shooter, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide.
Software-wise, expect the Reno13 series to ship with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box, following in the footsteps of the Find X8. Durability also seems to be a priority this time around, with dust and water resistance likely to be part of the package.
