nubia, ZTE’s sub-brand, is back with a new flagship phone for the global market — the nubia Z70 Ultra.

The device, which succeeds last year’s Z60 Ultra, was officially unveiled earlier this week in China. As you can probably tell, it boasts cutting-edge specs and a design that’s reminiscent of its predecessor.

The Z70 Ultra is available for preorder starting today, November 26, on nubia’s website. The international open sale kicks off on December 5. Below is the official pricing:

• 12GB/256GB: $729 in the U.S., £649 in the UK, and €749 in the EU
• 16GB/512GB: $829 in the U.S., £749 in the UK, and €849 in the EU
• 16GB/512GB variant (blue): $849 in the U.S., £769 in the UK, and €869 in the EU. Available for preorder now, with shipping in December.
• 24GB/1TB variant: $949 in the U.S., £899 in the UK, and €969 in the EU

Based on the listing we saw, three configurations are up for grabs: 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and a top-of-the-line 24GB/1TB for those who need a lot of storage. The base model is expected to retail for P49,499 (around $839 converted).

Color options include black, yellow, and blue. The latter is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic oil-on-canvas painting, The Starry Night.

The global variant of the nubia Z70 Ultra features a few key upgrades, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a better AMOLED display from BOE, and an improved set of cameras headlined by a 50-megapixel main camera with a 35mm lens featuring a variable aperture and advanced optical image stabilization.

The newest nubia flagship gets a massive 6,150mAh battery pack inside that supports fast charging up to 80 watts. There’s also Android 15-based Nebula AIOS, which brings a number of AI-driven features like real-time translation, screen recognition, and even AI-powered search for your overflowing photo gallery. To top it all off, the nubia Z70 Ultra boasts an IP69 ingress protection rating, meaning this phone is built to survive the elements.
