HONOR has just dropped its latest foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V3, in the Philippines.

This device is making waves for its incredibly slim profile and featherlight weight, challenging the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 in the local foldable arena.

And the good news is it’s now available for reservation in the country. Get yours at P89,999 (roughly $1,527) for the 12GB/512GB configuration. Alternatively, you can choose a Globe Postpaid Plan starting at GPlan Plus 1799 and enjoy affordable monthly payments of as low as P1,514 ($26) for 36 months. This plan also comes with a generous 50GB of data per month, perfect for those who love to stream and stay connected. That’s not all: Every purchase comes with a free HONOR Pad X9 worth P9,999 ($170).

The HONOR Magic V3 at a glance

“It feels like just yesterday when we launched the HONOR Magic V2, and now, we are ecstatic to introduce [our] newest and thinnest foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V3. AI is slowly but surely reshaping our industry, enriching and creating new experiences that improves creativity and productivity for consumers all around the world, every day, and right now, it’s our priority to make comfort and technology accessible to more Filipinos,” said HONOR Philippines vice president Stephen Cheng.

At a mere 9.2mm unfolded, the Magic V3 is practically a wafer compared to other foldables. It’s deemed the world’s thinnest inward foldable handset. It’s so light, tipping the scales at just 226 grams, that it feels more like a standard bar phone like the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.

But don’t let its super-sleek design fool you. This thing is built to last. The brand claims the hinge can endure a staggering 500,000 folds, and with an IPX8 rating, it can handle water submersion for up to depths of 1.5 meters. Even the display is tougher than your average screen, boasting 10x the drop and scratch resistance.

Speaking of the screens, the HONOR Magic V3 is equipped with a 6.43-inch external panel and a spacious 7.92-inch foldable inner display, so you get the best of both worlds. Plus, it’s loaded with eye-friendly features like the world’s first AI Defocus Display, 4,320Hz PWM Dimming, Dynamic Dimming, Circadian Night Display, and Natural Tone Display. Your eyes will thank you, even after hours of use.

The device also packs a punch with a flagship-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G chipset, a massive 5,150mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 66-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless charging, and a rear-camera system that boasts a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 40-megapixel ultrawide.

Face-to-face translation? Why not?!

There are plenty of intelligent features here to help boost your productivity and creativity. Magic Portal on Foldable opens up a new dimension of multitasking, while AI-powered camera features like HONOR AI Motion Sensing and HONOR AI Portrait Engine help capture stunning photos effortlessly. The company has likewise teamed up with Google Cloud to bring you enhanced productivity tools like HONOR AI Eraser, Face-to-Face Translation, and seamless translation in HONOR Notes.

Stay tuned for our in-depth review of the HONOR Magic V3, coming shortly.
