Globe At Home has introduced the Philippines’ fastest prepaid-fiber offer yet. The service lets you experience speeds of up to 100Mbps whenever you want, with no long-term contracts to tie you down.
This should be a pretty big deal, especially for consumers who are on a budget or those who need a secondary internet connection. GFiber Prepaid means you can have fast, reliable internet without the commitment of a 24- or 36-month contract — if the service is available in your area, of course. Picture this happening simultaneously: You’re immersed in your favorite online game, your family is streaming movies in crystal-clear 4K, and someone else is downloading massive files. That’s the kind of seamless online experience GFiber Prepaid promises.
So, what’s the deal? Basically, you can choose from a bunch of different prepaid options depending on your needs and budget. Need a quick speed boost for a week? They’ve got you covered for P399 (roughly $7). Want a whole month of up to 100Mbps connection? That will be P1,299 ($22). Or, if you are a more casual user, you can get unlimited internet at 50Mbps for P699 ($12) a month.
“Globe At Home understands how essential reliable and fast connectivity is for today’s lifestyles,” said Globe Broadband Business vice president and head of Brand Management Abigail Cardino. “With the GFiber Prepaid speed boost, we’re offering our customers the freedom to increase their internet speeds without being tied to a contract. This proves our commitment to providing accessible and flexible, high-quality internet that adapts to the needs of Filipino households.”
We’re currently subscribed to “Up to 50Mbps UNLI Fiber” as our backup connection. We initially had an issue with it — that was still in June 2023 — but it’s all good now. Globe At Home launching its new offer means we have another service to try.
