The next few weeks is going to be a total smartphone showdown, as brands will throw their hats into the ring with their latest flagships. realme is one of those that will shake things up a bit, confirming that the realme GT 7 Pro will debut in China on November 4.
The announcement comes after Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite at its Snapdragon Summit 2024 event in Hawaii. Yes, realme’s upcoming top-tier mobile is powered by the American chipmaker’s most premium chipset. As we reported yesterday, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, built on TSMC’s 3nm process, represents a major leap forward in mobile processing — at least on paper. It promises to deliver a staggering 45% boost in CPU performance and a 44% increase in power efficiency over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The good news is that the realme GT 7 Pro is going global. realme India and realme Malaysia, for example, have confirmed that the upcoming GT model will launch in their respective markets as the first phone to use Qualcomm’s “elite” 5G mobile platform. We’re not sure if it’s ever coming to the Philippines, though.
Power that sets new benchmarks! 🚀

The realme GT 7 Pro is launching outside of China! Exhibit A…
Exhibit B…
relme is not just stopping at the processor; it’s also going all-out with the display. The company calls it the “Eco Sky Screen,” and it’s a custom-made Samsung micro-quad-curved OLED panel that’s usually found on fancy foldable phones. We’re talking super-sharp visuals, buttery-smooth scrolling, and eye-friendly features that will make you wonder why all handsets don’t have it.
The brand hasn’t revealed any more details at this time, but word has it that the realme GT 7 Pro has a massive 6,500mAh battery that can be juiced up quickly with 120-watt fast charging. And if you’re a photography fanatic, you might be in for a treat, as the GT 7 Pro is said to pack a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens for some serious zoom action.

Unboxing under water?!
The smartphone is reportedly tough as nails, too, as it’s supposed to feature an IP69 rating. That means this realme should be able to handle anything you throw at it. Let’s see come the 4th next month then.
