The Find X8 series is set to make waves in the smartphone market, with this OPPO flagship lineup scheduled to launch in China on October 24.

Expect the OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro on that day. Apparently, we won’t see the OPPO Find X8 Ultra just yet, as it is said to be hitting the global stage in the first quarter of 2025 along with the OPPO Find N5 foldable.

The Find X8 series will debut with the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9400. The Taiwanese chip maker’s top-of-the-line chip promises big AI improvements, including AI video generation, so expect more AI features here. That includes the ability to get rid of reflections from photos, a feature that was already shown by the company on China’s Weibo platform.

The two models boast advanced camera systems, with the Pro expected to feature a quad-camera rear setup with dual periscope telephoto lenses and the standard one likely getting a triple-camera system. The Find X8 Pro is confirmed to come with an iPhone 16-like Camera Control button as well. But unlike that of Apple’s, OPPO’s Quick Launch key is touch-sensitive and provides haptic feedback.

Other confirmed features include a micro-quad-curved OLED display, support for 50-watt magnetic wireless charging, and ColorOS 15 with Android 15 on top.

The OPPO Find X8 series was already certified in markets such as India and Indonesia, so a global launch is in the offing. We’re not sure if the Philippines will be included in the international rollout, but we’re hopeful that OPPO will bring these flagship devices to the local market soon.
