The countdown is on: Apple‘s newest iPhones are set to hit Philippine shores soon.

According to teasers posted from authorized retailers and telecommunications companies, the Apple iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available for preorder starting October 10, a month after the series’ global launch. Nationwide release is scheduled for October 18.

While Smart Communications has not revealed its prepaid and postpaid offerings for the lineup yet, Globe Telecom has at least announced that its device cash out starts at P1,414 per month — excluding the monthly plan cash out at GPlan Plus 999 — for 36 months installment via select credit cards. That’s already inclusive of a month of Gadget Xchange, a device-protection program that lets Globe Postpaid users swap or replace their unit without any questions.

Globe has also disclosed that you can get the 256GB variant of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro at P1,592 per month — except the monthly plan cash out at GPlan 3799 — for 24 months installment via select credit cards.

The cameras have been upgraded with a larger 48-megapixel main sensor and improved computational photography capabilities. The Dynamic Island remains a key feature, offering a customizable space for notifications and quick actions. Plus there’s a new Action button to allow users to quickly access shortcuts and customizable functions. You can find the specs of each model here.
