While specific details about the specs of the Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2 are still under wraps, leaked images offer a glimpse into their design.
The Transsion brand’s second Fold sports a new rectangular camera module, departing from its predecessor’s circular design. It’s said to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus, a triple-camera system, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Recent certifications reveal that the unit packs 12GB of RAM, runs Android 14 out of the box, and packs a dual-battery setup totaling 5,610mAh.

The second-gen Flip model, on the other hand, is expected to have a larger cover screen compared to the original, bringing it closer to the design of other popular flip phones on the market. It reportedly has a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well as a dual-battery setup with a combined capacity of 4,590mAh and support for 70-watt fast charging.
Both foldable devices are slated for a release in India, as indicated by certifications from the country’s Bureau of Indian Standards or BIS. This points to the TECNO Phantom V Fold 2 and TECNO Phantom V Flip 2 getting a wider global launch.
