Get ready to empty your wallets! Apple‘s highly anticipated special event is happening on Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. That’s Tuesday, September 10, here in the Philippines.

(Update, September 10: Just launched: The Apple iPhone 16 series!)

The event, which uses the tagline “It’s Glowtime,” will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. As usual, you can watch the livestream on Apple Events, YouTube, or the Apple TV app. This means you can tune in from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other Apple devices.

What to expect from Apple’s Sept 2024 event

The latest iPhone 16 lineup will likely be the main attraction of this upcoming event. The series, which is rumored to feature four models — the regular iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max — is expected to feature several enhancements, including:

  • a new and customizable Action and Capture buttons for intuitive photo and video controls;
  • Apple’s most powerful 3nm A18 and A18 Pro chips for improved performance and Apple Intelligence features;
  • larger display sizes for the Pro and Pro Max models; and
  • 5x telephoto zoom on the Pro and Pro Max (this feature was exclusive to last year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max).

Could this be real?

Other products that will reportedly be launched alongside the iPhone 16 series include the following:

  • Apple Watch Series 10 with larger displays and a thinner design;
  • Apple Watch SE 3 with a colorful plastic casing;
  • Apple Watch Ultra 3 with the same design but with a darker finish; and
  • AirPods 4 with improved design, sound quality, and charging case.

Additionally, we’ll finally get official launch dates for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other software updates. Stay tuned as we bring you updates on all (new) things Apple on the 9th next month.

Hmm. Ready for ‘Glowtime’?
