HONOR just announced a flagship-packed launch happening on July 12 in China. Apparently, we’re getting a refresh across the board, with new foldable phones, a tablet, and a laptop all set to debut.
The event will see the announcement of multiple products, such as the HONOR Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 foldable phones, the MagicPad 2 tablet, and the MagicBook Art 14 laptop.
Headlining the show is the highly anticipated HONOR Magic V3. The previous model, the Magic V2, was already a marvel of engineering, boasting a feather-light 9.9mm profile and a beefy 5,000mAh battery. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-based flagship foldable arrived with a P79,999 (around $1,360 converted) price tag in the Philippines earlier this year.
HONOR promises the Magic V3 will be even slimmer and lighter than its predecessor — all while packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Whispers of 5.5G connectivity and two-way satellite communication (likely for the Chinese market only) add a touch of intrigue. In China, the Magic V3’s 3C certification hints at 66-watt fast wired charging, but other details remain under wraps.

Upcoming foldables
The brand’s affordable foldable option also makes a comeback, with the upcoming HONOR Magic Vs3. If it follows the Vs2’s footsteps, expect a more budget-friendly version rocking the previous-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or the newer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 this time around.
As for the HONOR MagicPad 2, the tablet is rumored to boast innovative AI defocus technology to combat eye strain during those marathon browsing and Netflix binging sessions. Last but not least, the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 gets a refresh. While details are scarce, expect the usual suspects: Intel’s latest processors, faster memory and storage, an improved display, and, hopefully, a longer-lasting battery backup.
