TECNO‘s imaging-focused CAMON stable of smartphones has a new member — and a sleek-looking one at that.
The TECNO CAMON 30S Pro is now up on the brand’s global site, making the existence of the device official. It boasts several firsts: the first in the world to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset and the first TECNO phone to offer wireless charging.
The processor is yet to be announced, so details remain scarce. However, TECNO claims a 6nm architecture and a 7% improvement in CPU performance compared to previous chips. There should be “4.5G” connectivity as well, thanks to the Helio G100’s CA 2.0 technology.

A 5,000mAh battery keeps the CAMON 30S Pro powered throughout the day. For wired charging, it supports up to 45 watts. But the real star of the show is the 20-watt wireless-charging capability, as we indicated earlier. The company includes a special magnetic case to ensure optimal placement on compatible charging pads, but the unit also works with standard wireless chargers from other brands. For added convenience, three charging modes — Hyper Charge, Smart Charge, and Low Temp Charge — allow you to choose the optimal option for your situation.
The camera system is still the main focus here, of course. The primary one on the back features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor that has optical image stabilization and is 1/1.56-inch large with 1um pixel size to help capture photos and videos in any lighting condition. A secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor adds depth information for enhanced portrait shots. Flipping the phone over, a 50-megapixel selfie camera with eye-tracking auto-focus resides within a punch-hole cutout. Expect the return of features like AIGC Portrait and AI Eraser.
The TECNO CAMON 30S Pro offers ample storage with 256GB and 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually to 16GB. It also comes with a 6.78-inch dual-curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, NFC for contactless payments, an FM radio, and an IR blaster. It runs Android 14 with TECNO’s HiOS user interface on top. And security is handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There are no CAMON 30S Pro price and availability details just yet, but it’s safe to say that the brand will reveal more information soon. About a release in the Philippines perhaps?
