Xiaomi Philippines has added a new smartphone to its entry-level offerings.

The Redmi 13 4G, the successor to the well-received Redmi 12 4G, is now official locally. Priced at P7,999 (roughly $137), it will be available for purchase starting July 12 in Midnight Black, Sandy Gold, Pearl Pink, and Ocean Blue color variants. Every purchase on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop from the 12th to July 20 comes with a free pair of Redmi Buds 4 Lite.

The Redmi 13 boasts several key upgrades over its predecessor, with the biggest highlight being the camera. The just-launched phone is designed to take mobile photography to a new level for its price range. Gone is the 50-megapixel sensor of the Redmi 12; in its place sits a whopping 108-megapixel main rear shooter that’s equipped with a 3x in-sensor zoom.

Up front, housed in a punch-hole cutout at the top center of a familiar 6.79-inch 90Hz IPS LCD display, is a 13-megapixel camera.

There’s a suite of creative features designed to elevate your mobile-photography game here. A variety of filmCamera vintage film filters, for example, offers real-time previews and a nostalgic, classic aesthetic. Film-frame options let you add a touch of personality with diverse frame designs.

The Redmi 13 is likewise equipped with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a generous 5,030mAh capacity with support for 33-watt fast charging, and HyperOS based on Android 14.
