DJI Enterprise Philippines is taking remote drone operations to a new level with the introduction of the DJI Dock 2 in the country.

The system offers a lightweight, portable, and feature-rich drone-in-a-box solution to simplify remote operations and make it easier to deploy and manage drones for various industries and applications, such as in:

  • mapping and surveying, where data capture is automated for construction sites, infrastructure projects, and environmental monitoring with increased efficiency;
  • inspection and maintenance, where regular inspections of power lines and pipelines are conducted with enhanced safety and reduced manpower requirements; and
  • public safety and first response, where the quick deployment of drones for search and rescue operations, disaster-zone assessments, and fire monitoring is critical.

The DJI Dock 2 is easy to transport and set up. It is remarkably 68% lighter and 75% smaller than its predecessor.

The system provides enhanced efficiency as well. With the Dock 2 offering an impressive 45-second turnaround time that already includes a complete propeller inspection and takeoff sequence, operators can pre-program flight paths and initiate autonomous missions, streamlining data capture and reducing the need for constant pilot presence.

Its IP55 weather-resistance rating allows for year-round operation in rain, dust, and wind without worrying about weather disruptions. For added safety, the Dock 2 uses next-generation image-recognition technology. The result? Accurate and reliable landings on the designated pad, minimizing the risk of operational errors and potential damage.

Unlocking the DJI Dock 2’s full potential is the Matrice 3 series, which consists of the Matrice 3D and the Matrice 3TD. Both are high-performance drones specifically designed to work seamlessly with the Dock 2.

The Matrice 3D excels in high-precision mapping tasks with its dual-camera payload, featuring a wide-angle camera and a telephoto unit that’s capable of capturing exceptional quality images at a 1:500 scale. The Matrice 3TD, on the other hand, is ideal for security and inspection applications. It’s equipped with a triple-camera payload, including wide-angle, telephoto, and infrared cameras. The latter allows for capturing both visible light and thermal images, providing valuable data in low-light scenarios.

The Matrice 3 series drones feature omnidirectional obstacle detection for a safe and autonomous flight. They can also handle demanding tasks because of the Dock 2’s powerful charging and operation capabilities.

One more thing

But that’s not all. Also showcased at the launch was the DJI Zenmuse H30 series, which complements the DJI Dock 2’s capabilities. It’s perfect for all-weather conditions, boasting superior zoom, exceptional night vision, and powerful thermal imaging (for the H30T model).

The multisensor payload system can capture details from afar with a high-resolution 40-megapixel zoom camera, supporting up to 34x optical zoom and an incredible 400x digital zoom. This allows for precise observation of subjects at great distances. DJI Enterprise Philippines even showed us one that was hovering in Mandaluyong, but was able to capture a mall in Bacoor, Cavite, with no problem.

The Zenmuse H30 series tackles low-light scenarios with ease, too. Night Scene mode offers settings at 25fps, 15fps, and 5fps, while the H30T model can see beyond the visible; it integrates a high-resolution thermal camera with a wide temperature measurement range, allowing users to detect and analyze thermal anomalies unseen by the naked eye.

Also showcased at the DJI Dock 2 launch: the DJI Zenmuse H30 series

A high-resolution wide-angle camera and a laser rangefinder with a detection range of up to 3,000 meters provide exceptional detail and precise distance measurements, crucial for tasks like inspections and mapping.

No need to worry about tough environments either. With a robust build and intelligent features like Smart Capture and Electronic Dehazing, one can ensure reliable operations and clear image capture even in harsh weather.

There’s no question that the DJI Zenmuse H30 series is a versatile aerial imaging solution for various industries, including public safety, energy inspection, water conservation, and forestry, where gathering critical data and making informed decisions in diverse scenarios is paramount.
