(Update: We now know when the realme GT 6 is launching in the Philippines!)

realme has confirmed that the realme GT 6 is scheduled to debut June 20 in Milan, Italy. The launch will serve as the global comeback of the brand’s GT series.

While the smartphone is confirmed to become available in at least 12 countries (the Philippines is one of them) — we still don’t know the rollout date for each market. The wait shouldn’t be that long, though.

realme claims the GT 6 is a real flagship killer, especially in an age where artificial intelligence is on the rise.

“AI is becoming the next hotly contested spot. Among these, AI imaging, voice, and interaction will be the three major trends in the future development of AI,” realme founder and CEO Sky Li shared in an interview with Forbes. “Our goal is to really integrate AI into everyone’s daily life.”

There’s no official statement on the specs of the realme GT 6. However, there are rumors that the phone borrows heavily from the realme GT Neo6, which is priced from around $290 (roughly P16,977) in China.

If true, we can expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 5G processor backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a whopping 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage as well as a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 6,000-nit peak brightness. To keep you powered through intense gaming sessions, the GT 6 might pack a 5,500mAh battery with support for 120 watts of SUPERVOOC fast charging.
