The Infinix NOTE 40S is coming, and we already know its specs

If you think Infinix Mobile is done releasing NOTE 40 series models, think again. The company is gearing up for the launch of the Infinix NOTE 40S.

The smartphone is already available for preorder in Myanmar with a deposit fee of K30,000 (around P540 or $9). And while the brand hasn’t announced the price yet, it has revealed the specs.

Just like the other devices in the lineup, the NOTE 40S features Infinix’s All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology driven by the company’s proprietary Cheetah X1 chip. The latter uses advanced algorithms to assess component needs in real time and distribute power efficiently, potentially leading to a longer battery life.

The 5,000 battery supports up to 33 watts of All-Round FastCharge 2.0 — allowing you to fill it up from 0% to 50% in just 31 minutes in Smart mode — and 20 watts of Wireless MagCharge for that convenient wire-free charging. Speaking of the latter, every purchase should be bundled with the Infinix MagKit, which includes the MagCase, MagPad, and MagPower.

The Infinix NOTE 40S sports a curved punch-hole screen that measures 6.78 inches, supports a maximum of 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Powering the phone is a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate 4G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There’s also a 108-megapixel dual camera on the back, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, Active Halo AI lighting, dual speakers tuned by JBL, IP54 rating, and Android 14-based XOS 14.

No word on yet on which markets will get the Infinix NOTE 40S next, but there’s a huge possibility that Infinix will offer the smartphone here in the Philippines, considering that the country is one of the brand’s key markets.
