The wait is finally over. Infinix has unveiled its first official gaming phone in the Philippines, the Infinix GT 20 Pro, alongside an entry into the gaming-laptop market with the Infinix GT Book.

Locally, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will go on sale beginning June 13, boasting a competitive price tag of P15,999 (around $272 converted) and dropping to a steal at P13,999 ($238) during its launch sale. Infinix will even throw in a free gamer kit, which includes a case with a cooling fan and thumb sleeves that can further your gaming experience.

The GT 20 Pro is available in Mecha Orange, Mecha Blue, and Mecha Silver colors and features the brand’s Mecha-inspired design dominated by the C-ring Mecha Loop Lighting interface with customizable RGB LED lights.

Under the hood, the Infinix GT 20 Pro packs a punch with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chipset, paired with up to 24GB of dynamic RAM and a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo visual processor. This combo aims to deliver smooth frame rates and high-quality visuals, further bolstered by the phone’s 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate.

Based on our testing, the GT 20 Pro can handle competitive titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at a silky smooth 120 fps with the graphics maxed out. Our 40-minute playtime averaged 113 fps, which is a seriously impressive achievement given the smartphone’s budget-friendly price tag.
