vivo has welcomed a new member to the V30 series.

The vivo V30e 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 has gone official with its launch in India and our neighboring country Indonesia, a sign that we’d like to think means there’s a possibility of a release in other Southeast Asian markets like the Philippines.

The V30e takes a bold design direction with a circular camera module, two-toned finish, and vertical accent strip on the back. It offers a fresh look compared to the other V30 series smartphones.

The new model features a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner hidden beneath and a FullHD+ resolution and 1,300 nits peak brightness that should ensure a great viewing experience. At the top center of the 6.78-inch screen is a punch-hole cutout that houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

vivo V30e 5G launch highlights in India

Like other units in the lineup, the vivo V30e 5G boasts the company’s signature Aura Light ring light, a feature that lets you capture portraits without using bulky DSLR cameras or professional studio setups. At the back is is a triple imaging system headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor.

The latest vivo phone likewise comes with a 5,500mAh battery with 44-watt fast charging that’s promised to live up to its “four-year battery health” claim. This translates to retaining at least 80% capacity after a staggering 1,600 charge cycles — all while maintaining a remarkably slim profile of just 7.69mm.

In India, the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB versions have respective suggested retail prices of ₹27,999 (around P19,162 or $336) and ₹29,999 (P20,530 or $360), respectively. In Indonesia, on the other hand, the two configurations are selling for Rp4,699,000 (P16,792 or $294) and Rp4,999,000 (P17,864 or $313).
