The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4-inch will be officially unveiled in the Philippines on May 2. You might recall that the company’s flagship tablet launched alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra earlier this year.

It joins the Xiaomi Pad 6 family, which includes the Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro, and Pad 6 Max models. The regular Pad 6, which hit local retail last year, was priced at P20,999 (roughly $364) at launch. As expected, Xiaomi Philippines has yet to reveal the device’s local availability and pricing details, but its price in China starts at ¥3,299 ($465 or P26,790) for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Our short unboxing video of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4

The first-party accessories can likely be bought for additional money, but the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4-inch ships with a 120-watt power brick, which, according to the manufacturer, can recharge the device from zero to full in just 35 minutes — quite a feat considering the generous 10,000mAh battery that keeps the lights on.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a powerhouse tablet without a flagship chipset inside. Xiaomi has equipped the unit with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, making it one of the most powerful Android tablets you can get your hands on right now. It runs Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box, too. The camera system is no slouch, either; the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 sees a 50-megapixel camera at the back and a 32-megapixel front-facer for selfies and online meetings.
