Finally, we can confirm that the OnePlus 12R will be available in the Philippines starting tomorrow, April 18. This is according to a listing we found on the OPPO brand’s official Shopee store.

Recall that the OnePlus 12R and its higher-specced stablemate, the OnePlus 12, made its global debut back in January. Curiously, the latter is not listed on the e-commerce platform, though it would make sense for the brand’s current flagship model to launch here as well.
Its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, made its way to the Philippine market last year, carrying a suggested retail price of P45,990 (around $805) for the base variant with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 16GB/256GB version sold for P49,990 ($875) at launch.
As expected, local pricing for the OnePlus 12R hasn’t been revealed, but if you’re in the United States, you can pick it up in 8GB/128GB and 16GB/256GB configurations for $499.99 (P28,567) and $599.99 (P34,280), respectively. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-based OnePlus 12, on the other hand, starts at $799.99 (P45,806).
The 12R is a more-affordable-yet-still-powerful alternative to OnePlus‘ current flagship. It sports a sizable LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1.5K resolution, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for drop protection. DisplayMate, in its review of the OnePlus 12R, gave it a performance rating of A+ — one of the highest scores ever given to a smartphone display.
Inside, the smartphone is powered by last year’s top-of-the-line Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and comes with a large 5,500mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 100 watts. This allows the unit to reach a full charge in under 30 minutes, which is impressive for any modern phone. For pictures, the 12R is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front-facer for selfies. It runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android out of the box.
