Huawei has introduced the latest entries to its “made for Gen Z” nova lineup, with the announcement of the Huawei nova 12 SE and nova 12i in the Philippines.
Both phones will be available on the local market starting April 27, with local pricing set at P15,999 (around $278) for the Huawei nova 12 SE and P12,999 ($226) for the Huawei nova 12i. To celebrate their release, Huawei’s throwing in a free Huawei Band 8 worth P2,599 ($45), free shipping, and a limited-time P1,000 ($17) voucher if you snag one on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, or Huawei’s official online store. Shopee users get an extra treat with exclusive discounts on Shopee Mall during its 5.5 sale event.
The nova 12 SE and nova 12i arrive with a 108-megapixel main camera with in-sensor zoom for lossless-quality shots up close, displays that support a 90Hz refresh, 256GB of internal storage, and fast wired charging up to 66 watts for the nova 12 SE out of the box. They also boot Huawei’s latest EMUI 14 software with AppGallery, which makes it easier than ever to download and install essential apps, including some must-haves from Google.
If you need a better display, faster charging, and a higher-resolution front camera for selfies and vlogs, then you may want to shell out a bit more cash for the SE variant.
