It’s confirmed: vivo‘s first V series smartphone with Zeiss optics is also coming to the Philippines.

(Update, March 20: The vivo V30 Pro 5G and vivo V30 5G are official in the Philippines!)

The company has started teasing the vivo V30 Pro 5G in the country, so the more premium model in the lineup should be released here soon as well.

Recall that the vivo V30 5G first went up for sale on Shopee Philippines a few days ago, ahead of its official launch. While the price is set at P25,999 (roughly $464), the device is currently available on the e-commerce site for as low as P22,999 ($410) and comes bundled with P1,999 ($36) worth of freebies. The offer runs until March 8.

The teaser

We still don’t know how much the vivo V30 Pro 5G will be. But in markets where it’s already being sold, such as Thailand and Indonesia, the phone costs ฿19,999 (P31,347) and Rp8,999,000 (P32,030), respectively.

The vivo V30 Pro 5G boasts four cameras co-developed with German optical-system manufacturer Zeiss: three on the back and one up front, which the brand calls Zeiss Professional Portrait Camera. And with the return of Aura Light — new and improved this time — you’ll have an even powerful light-filling tool for when you need soft and natural lighting to take portraits.

The vivo V30 Pro 5G gets Aura Light 3.0, too

This elegant-looking Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,800 nits of peak brightness. You can power through tasks with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset that’s paired 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and 5,000mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging. There’s IP54 water-and-dust-resistance rating and Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 here as well.
