Comprising four models — the Infinix NOTE 40, NOTE 40 Pro, NOTE 40 Pro 5G, and NOTE 40 Pro Plus 5G — the series promises speedy performance and fast charging at a bargain price. The NOTE 40 and NOTE 40 Pro are 4G-only models, while the other two are capable of 5G data speeds where available.

The base unit sports a flat display, while the Pro variants feature curved screens enhanced with Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphones are set to go on sale in select markets, likely including the Philippines, this month and will be available in Vintage Green, Obsidian Black, and Titan Gold colors.

Infinix Mobile is also revving things up with a special Racing Edition, designed in collaboration with BMW’s legendary DesignWorks team. Expect a sleek look inspired by speed when this model hits the shelves later this year.

All phones are equipped with Infinix’s new All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology powered by its proprietary Cheetah X1 chip. According to Infinix, this chip acts as a central power-management hub, intelligently managing power distribution within your device. Its algorithms assess component needs in real time, leading to a potential increase in overall battery life.

The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro Plus 5G, in particular, stands out by offering ultra-fast — and ultra-convenient — 100-watt fast charging out of the box, along with a custom magnetic case and a bunch of optional MagSafe-inspired smartphone accessories, including a powerbank that attaches to the back of your device.

Infinix claims the top-of-the-line NOTE 40 Pro PLUS 5G can recharge to 50% in just 8 minutes in Hyper mode. Additionally, the company tackles extreme temperatures with its Extreme-Temp tech, enabling reliable charging down to -20 degrees Celsius. No more worrying about a dead battery on those winter adventures. This series also features Bypass Charging 2.0, designed to keep your unit running smoothly during heavy use. It works by sending power directly to the motherboard, reducing heat buildup for consistent performance.

The brand debuts the Active Halo feature on the Infinix NOTE 40 models, too. It’s basically a large notification light inside the flash ring at the back that blinks to indicate various actions, such as, but not limited to, receiving notifications and calls, playing mobile games, streaming music, and charging the phone.

To manage heat generation, the NOTE 40 series incorporates a vacuum-chamber cooling system capable of lowering temperatures by up to 7 degrees Celsius for sustained performance. And its dual speakers have been tuned by JBL, ensuring 360-degree symmetrical sound.

For taking pictures, the Infinix NOTE 40 lineup touts a 108-megapixel primary camera that leverages the power of 3x in-sensor zoom and OIS to produce clear and detailed images from afar. You also get a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.
