Xiaomi will likely unveil the highly anticipated top-end version of the Xiaomi 14 series that will compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra during the Mobile World Congress 2024, happening February 26 through the 29th in Barcelona, Spain.
(Update, February 6: The Xiaomi 14 series has a global launch date!)
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to join the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which launched last October in China and are expected to make their global debuts as well.

Our bet is on an MWC 2024 debut
The signs are on the wall. Recently, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra made the rounds on public certification programs, including India’s BIS, China’s 3C, and most recently, the IMDA regulatory website for the Singaporean market. And though the listing doesn’t confirm anything new, its appearance on another certification site suggests that an international launch is imminent.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has also reportedly made its way to the Geekbench site, posting single- and multi-core scores of 9,317 and 26,523 points, respectively. Similar to the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, the Ultra variant is widely believed to sport a Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G chipset.

Leaked specs
Prior to the Geekbench listing, hands-on images of an alleged Xiaomi 14 Ultra unit in a camera-covering protective case had also been leaked. The device in question features a quad-camera array and appears to have a larger camera module than its predecessor, fueling rumors of a major design change.
Earlier, reports alleged that the top-of-the-line model in the Leica co-branded flagship series will have three 50-megapixel sensors, including one with a one-inch sensor size and 1.6μ pixel size believed to be the Sony LYT-900. The periscope telephoto camera, on the other hand, may offer up to a 120mm focal length, just like its predecessor and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
