Cherry Philippines, formerly Cherry Mobile, has recently started teasing a new smartphone on its official Facebook page, sparking rumors that the newly labeled lifestyle-technology brand will finally announce a couple of devices under the Aqua brand.

Recall that a marketing poster for Cherry Philippines’ Aqua series leaked out late last year via an online community page, confirming at least two new handset models — the Cherry Aqua GR and Cherry Aqua S11 Pro — as well as their key specs.

According to the poster, the higher-end Cherry Aqua GR will be priced at P11,999 (around $214 converted), while the Cherry Aqua S11 Pro will cost P7,999 ($143). The Aqua GR is built around a faster and more gaming-capable MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset that also offers 5G connectivity. The Aqua S11 Pro, on the other hand, is a 4G-only phone powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip.

Based on the render, the first teaser video seems to show the silhouette of the rear-camera module of the Aqua GR. The second video, posted earlier today, hints at the S11 Pro.

Both devices will come with 8GB of RAM alongside 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and the option for virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB. They are equipped with 120Hz AMOLED displays as well, although the GR unit has a slightly larger screen with curved sides for comfort.

For taking pictures, the Cherry Aqua GR boasts a 108-megapixel main camera, whereas the Cherry Aqua S11 Pro packs a 64-megapixel image sensor at the back. The more expensive model supports faster charging, too — up to 66 watts using the included power brick.
