Xiaomi has made the first member of the Redmi 13 series official in the Philippines.

Just as we reported a week ago, the Redmi 13C comes with a suggested retail price of P4,999 (around $90) for the online-exclusive 4GB/128GB model. There are two other variants with higher memory configurations, and you can buy them at offline stores as well; the 6GB/128GB version is selling for P5,499 ($99), and the 8GB/256GB, for P6,999 ($126).

A free three-month subscription to Viu Premium is bundled with every purchase of the latter two models from December 1 to December 31.

The Redmi 13C boasts a 6.74-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and TÜV Low Blue Light and TÜV Flicker-Free certifications. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear shooter with new film-camera filters.

This entry-level smartphone relies on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 4G chipset and has RAM that can be extended up to 16GB RAM virtually and storage that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 1TB. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18-watt charging, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 13-based MIUI 14.
