As part of its #realmeWithYou campaign, realme recently announced exclusive offers and in-store promotions for the Philippine market — just in time for the holidays.
In line with this, realme has quietly launched a new variant of the realme C53 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage priced at only P8,999 (around $144), or just P1,000 ($18) more than the 6GB/128GB model we reviewed a few months ago. The rest of the hardware hasn’t changed, meaning you still get a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast charging over USB-C and a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a depth sensor.
In our review of the realme C53, we called it “a pretty good all-rounder that looks great and performs admirably in the hand.” If aesthetics is important to you, few other smartphones in this price range can make as good an impression as the C53’s Champion Gold color variant.
realme is also offering discounts on the popular budget handsets like the 4GB/128GB version of the realme C51, which drops to P5,999 ($108) from P6,499 ($117), while the realme C55 will be discounted by P1,000 ($18) starting December 1, 2023, lowering its price to P9,999 ($180).
Recall that the MediaTek Helio G88-based C55 arrived as the brand’s first smartphone with the Mini Capsule, an Apple iPhone-inspired, Dynamic Island-like feature that displays the charging status, low-battery alerts, step count, and walking distance, among other things.

realme will also run offline promotions in select stores nationwide until December 31, 2023, giving fans the chance to win a TechLife Notebook S, realme TechLife Robot Vacuum, or TechLife Multi-Capsule Coffee Maker for every single purchase worth at least P1,500 ($27).
The giveaways don’t stop there. Customers who purchase any realme 9 series smartphone can get a TechLife 4L Rice Cooker, while those who buy a realme 10 or realme 11 series model can take home a TechLife Handheld Fan. Additionally, each purchase of a participating realme or TechLife AIoT product, narzo 50 5G, or narzo 50 Pro 5G will be bundled with a TechLife Digital Weighing Scale. This promotion is available in all realme retail locations nationwide and valid for single receipts worth P10,000 ($180) and above.
Customers can also take photos at the realme photo booth outside participating stores and post them on social media for a chance to win a TechLife Desk Lamp, TechLife 4.5L See-Through Air Fryer, or realme TechLife Robot Vacuum.
