The successor to the Infinix SMART 7 has arrived in the Philippines.

The Infinix SMART 8, which has likewise launched in Nigeria, is now available for purchase on the local market. It’s priced differently across online platforms, but the lowest one we’ve seen sans the vouchers is on TikTok Shop, where the entry-level smartphone is selling for P3,199 (roughly $57).

The Infinix SMART 8 packs a 6.6-inch 90Hz punch-hole screen that has Infinix Mobile‘s own version of Apple’s Dynamic Island, Magic Ring, showing updates like charging information and voice calls.

The battery is rated at 5,000mAh, offering up to 39 hours of call time, 50 hours of music playback, or 36 hours of video playback. With Ultra Power Saving mode, the Transsion Holdings brand claims this SMART series model can last 24 hours on standby on 5% power.

There are features like 200% Super Volume with DTS Processing, a 13-megapixel dual camera with a ring flashlight, and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor here as well.

The Infinix SMART 8 variant that’s released in the Philippines pairs the phone’s 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset with 3GB of RAM — expandable via dynamic RAM — and 64GB of storage. We were hoping to see the Crystal Green version here, but only the Shiny Gold and Timber Black units are available locally.
