At last, we’ll see Xiaomi‘s next flagship lineup this week. And it won’t be any other launch, because MIUI’s replacement will be introduced on that day as well.

According to the world’s third largest smartphone brand, the Xiaomi 14 series — which is expected to consist of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro — is scheduled to debut in China October 26, and along with it, the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system.

Confirmed to feature Leica Summilux lenses, the two handsets have been spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with 16GB of RAM. The 5G chipset will most likely be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit, which will be held from October 24 to 26 in Hawaii, indicating that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be the first devices announced with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s successor.

The non-Pro unit, on the other hand, was spotted on the 3C certification authority’s website having support for 90-watt fast charging. Recall that the Xiaomi 13 offers charging up to 67 watts.
As for Xiaomi HyperOS, it’s designed by the company with the integration of more than 200 product categories in mind. It is said to connect 820 million devices as well. A product of years of collective work, HyperOS and will gradually succeed MIUI.

Can’t wait to see what kind of experience Xiaomi’s HyperOS offers. Unfortunately, the Xiaomi 14 series is not expected to be released on the global market until early next year
