Two and a half months after the Xiaomi Pad 6 landed in the Philippines, Xiaomi has announced that a tablet from its sub-brand will be released in the country in a few days.

Launched globally in August, the Redmi Pad SE will be available here online beginning October 26 before it will make its way to Xiaomi Stores nationwide the day after, October 27. In Europe, it’s priced from €199 (around P12,018 or $212). We won’t be surprised if the device’s suggested retail; price in the Philippines will start at roughly P10,000 ($176), as indicated in the SRP we spotted online.

The Redmi Pad SE considers its 11-inch FHD+ screen as its key feature — one that’s fit for “discovering endless entertainment.” The panel has 16:10 aspect and 1,500:1 contrast ratios and 400 nits of brightness, displays 16.7 million colors, and supports a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The screen likewise bagged Low Blue Light (Software Solution) and Flicker-Free certifications from TÜV Rheinland.

The Android 13-based tablet sports Dolby Atmos- and Hi-Res Audio-supporting quad speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It gets an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel one up front — with both having the ability to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Keeping the lights on is an 8,000mAh battery with 10-watt charging.

Powering the Redmi Pad SE is a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor paired with a maximum of 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
