The latest iteration of the OPPO’s clamshell-type foldable smartphone is out to make a mark in the industry with innovations such as the first triple camera system on a flip, an improved functionality of the cover screen, and a more premium design. The good news is it’s finally here in the Philippines, just a week after its global launch in Singapore.

Flippin’ good — nay, better
The OPPO Find N3 Flip improves on its predecessor’s design, but retains most of the display specs of the previous generation, including the screen sizes for its folding LTPO panel and vertical external display. You still get a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the main display. The cover screen is now protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making it more resistant to scratches.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is impressively bright, too, with the inner screen peaking at 1,600 nits of brightness and offering 1,440Hz PWM dimming to help reduce eye strain and fatigue.
The foldable display uses OPPO’s improved Flexion Hinge, resulting in a more subtle crease and a more durable panel. The foldable has been independently tested to withstand 600,000 folds, which is equivalent to opening and closing the phone around 100 times a day for more than 16 years. That’s impressive. For context, its competitor is rated for 200,000 folds.
The vertical cover screen measures 3.26 inches and is now more useful than ever. It shows up to six notifications at once and can still be used when shooting selfies and vlogs with the rear-facing cameras. It supports even more third-party apps — X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, Telegram, WeChat, and WhatsApp included.
The camera system on the back, co-created with renowned Swedish manufacturer Hasselblad, is where the big upgrades come in. Besides the 50-megapixel wide camera, which is similar to the previous model and uses the same Sony IMX 890 image sensor, OPPO has fitted the Find N3 Flip with a 32-megapixel telephoto option with a Sony IMX 709 sensor and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. Recall that the OPPO Find N2 Flip does not have a dedicated telephoto shooter and its ultrawide is driven by an 8-megapixel sensor.
Think the first flip phone to feature a triple rear camera system, a telephoto camera, and larger image sensors. That’s the OPPO Find N3 Flip — and how it’s reinventing flip phone photography.
Inside, the smartphone upgrades to a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200 5G chipset to guarantee fast and responsive performance, as well as high frame rates when playing graphics-intensive games like Genshin Impact and Diablo Immortal. The battery is rated at 4,300mAh and supports fast charging up to 44 watts using OPPO’s own SUPERVOOC™ standard. A short 30-minute charge is expected to be enough to charge the battery from zero to 58%.
