The smartphone Infinix Mobile debuted in Venice, Italy, now has a more affordable version.
(Update, December 2: The Infinix ZERO 30 4G is official in the Philippines!)
The Transsion Holdings brand has announced the Infinix ZERO 30 4G for the global market, with Indonesia getting it first. In our neighboring Southeast Asian country, the regular price of the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is Rp3,099,000 (roughly P11,103 or $195), but for a limited time, one can buy it for only Rp2,899,000 (P10,386 or $182).
For context, the more premium Infinix ZERO 30 5G‘s 12GB/256GB configuration is selling in the Philippines for P14,999 ($263).
Official Infinix ZERO 30 4G unboxing
The 4G variant of the ZERO 30’s 50-megapixel front camera boasts the same megapixel count as its more expensive sibling. However, recording videos is set at up to 2K resolution and 30 frames per second, not 4K resolution and 60 fps. Which is understandable given the price difference.
The rear imaging system still gets a 108-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth camera, though the 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter has been replaced with a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The 5,000mAh battery now supports up to 45-watt fast charging instead of 68 watts. The IP rating has gone from 53 to 54. The supported maximum refresh rate of the 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen is 120Hz instead of 144Hz. And the chipset is different, of course, with a MediaTek Helio G99 taking care of the processing tasks this time.
