The vivo V29 5G will go official in the Philippines at an event scheduled for September 26. But vivo already announced the prices ahead of the local launch.

According to the company, the vivo V29 5G will be available in two configurations. The version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at P24,999 (roughly $440), while the variant with double the storage at 512GB will go on sale for P26,999 ($475).

As with the previous-generation series models, the smartphone is equipped with the brand’s own Aura Portrait flash system, which acts as a tiny ring light for low-light portrait shots. This year, though, that feature has been improved with a color temperature slider to give you the option to shift between cooler and warmer tones depending on your preference. vivo calls it an upgraded Aura Portrait 2.0 with Night Algorithm, and it’s now positioned under the primary camera.

Speaking of, the vivo V29 5G’s rear imaging system is composed of a 50-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro unit. There’s optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization here as well. The camera up front is a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor, perfect for taking group selfies, and offers a 4K Cinematic Vlog mode.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging. You’ll also get a 120Hz curved AMOLED screen that measures 6.78 inches and offers eye protection; IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating; and Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.
