This is what we like about the iPhone; even a unit that’s about as old as the youngest kid in our household gets some love from Apple. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, for example, debuted worldwide in September 2018, but can still be updated to the same iOS version that’s running on the 2023 iPhones.
So, what can we expect from it? iOS 17 delivers features that are intended to make your experience more intuitive and personal. The Phone app, for one, gets Live Voicemail for seeing real-time on-device transcription as your contact leaves a voicemail. Check In lets you automatically notify loved ones when you have made it to your destination safely. You can create Live Stickers using your own pictures or even stylize them with effects. Bring two iPhones together, and you can easily share your contact details.
There’s a lot more to look forward to. We suggest you watch the video below for the key iOS 17 features. Or refer to this page on the Apple website that’s dedicated to the company’s latest operating system.
