Infinix Mobile will launch the Zero 30 5G in the Philippines September 26, following its global debut at the recently concluded 80th Venice International Film Festival.

(Update, October 14: We put a spotlight on the camera of the Infinix ZERO 30 5G, which is now available in the Philippines for P14,999 [$264]!)
Unlike most other smartphones on the market, the highlight of the Infinix Zero 30 5G is its front-facing camera, which is equipped with a 50-megapixel image sensor that allows for crisp 4K video recording at up to an impressive 60 frames per second. That’s twice the frame rate of most current flagship models!
The brand hopes the Zero 30 5G will inspire a new generation of content creators who will “move beyond selfies and enter a new realm of self-expressive, high-quality, cinematic vlog creation.” Aiding the selfie camera is a dual micro-slit flash for capturing brighter pictures and videos in low light, and the addition of phase-detection autofocus should allow for better subject tracking and clearer shots.

Global ambassadors like Filipina actress Rhian Ramos talk about the Infinix Zero 30 5G
For added customization and versatility when shooting video, the Infinix Zero 30 5G will support filters and dual-view recording out of the box. Hopefully, the software-based stabilization is good enough for handheld footage.
At the back, the phone packs a triple-camera system comprising a 108-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for better edge detection when shooting portraits. Other specs to watch for include a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 950 nits of peak brightness and a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 68 watts.
As for local pricing, we hear that the Infinix Zero 30 5G will have a suggested retail price of P14,999 (around $264 converted) for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will be available in Golden Hour and Rome Green colors in the Philippines. Not bad considering the specs and features on offer here.
