HONOR Philippines has had a busy 2023 so far, you’d think it would take a break from releasing products left and right. Well, you thought wrong.
(Update, September 20: These are the smartphones and tablet that HONOR is launching in the Philippines September 26!)
The former Huawei sub-brand, which made a comeback in the country just late last year, is teasing yet another set of devices only a month after it released the HONOR 90 5G. The upcoming lineup includes three smartphones and a tablet and will be launched September 26.
While HONOR hasn’t revealed what the models are, one of the handsets looks distinctive enough, what with the unusual, overlapping design of the camera module on the back and the “100MP 1:1.9/27 ASPH” plastered on it. We’re guessing it’s the HONOR 90 Lite 5G that debuted globally in June. In Europe where electronic devices are more expensive, the 5G phone’s 8GB/256GB version was priced at €300 (around P18,161 or $320) at launch.
Can you guess the specs of the newest HONOR Smartphone?

The other two smartphones, on the other hand, are said to be budget-friendly, have a long-lasting battery life, come “packed with industry-leading technology to ensure the eye health of their users,” and are designed for the chic and stylish.
HONOR also says the tablet features a full-view display and a large storage, making it perfect for both work and leisure use. The latest tablet that the company announced is the HONOR Pad X9. It debuted in July and was initially sold in Europe for €250 (P15,134 or $267). Could that be the one HONOR is teasing? We’ll surely know soon enough.
“We started the year with a bang — from the viral HONOR X9a 5G to the unexpected reception of the general public to the HONOR Magic5 Pro and the recently sold-out HONOR 90 5G. We have also opened several Experience Stores and expanded our partnerships, and for that, we are truly grateful for everyone’s support. We hope you can look forward to this spectacular lineup of HONOR devices that we’re bringing to the Philippines soon,” said HONOR Philippines vice president Stephen Cheng.
