The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G, OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G, and OPPO Reno10 5G are now official in the country, arriving with respective P39,999 (roughly $720), P29,999 ($540), and P23,999 ($432) price tags. They bring with them key upgrades and improvements after 10 generations of technology and innovation — more so that the Reno9 series wasn’t released here.

Shoot like a pro

At the top of the OPPO Reno10 Series 5G’s list of key specs is a Telephoto Portrait Camera that boasts a zoom lens designed to deliver detailed and depth-filled portraits even at a distance. The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G, of course, gets the best one, sporting a 64-megapixel sensor with phase-detection autofocus and optical image stabilization. A periscope telephoto lens that can zoom up to 3x optically is present here as well, letting you get closer to an object and still produce clear shots.

The Telephoto Portrait Camera can likewise take vivid images even in dimly lit scenarios. There’s facial-recognition technology and enhanced video resolution that supports 4K video recording for better sharpness and detail, too.

Use any of the filters in Portrait mode, such as the company’s Bokeh Flare Portrait and AI Color Portrait styles, to make your photos more artistic. Or enable Portrait Distortion Correction in the camera settings to eliminate edge distortion in your portraits, especially when using the 2x or 3x optical zoom. We’ll share with you samples in our review, which should be up soon.

To adjust your images’ level of background blur, all you need to do is tap the aperture icon on the bottom-left side of the viewfinder. The result should be a more natural-looking bokeh effect in your portraits. And with the brand’s AI Depth Algorithm, you can achieve a smooth and realistic bokeh in Video mode with just one tap.

Power through the day in style

The OPPO Reno10 Series 5G takes its pro power to other key areas, such as charging. Not a surprise, because OPPO is one of the pioneers there.

The most premium of the three models has the fastest charging capability on any Reno phone. With support for a whopping 100W SUPERVOOC flash charging feature, you can fill up the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G’s battery to 50% in roughly nine minutes. Want enough power for two hours of gaming? You only need a five-minute charge for that.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G, on the other hand, features an 80W SUPERVOOC flash charging, sufficient for a 48% battery life with just 10 minutes of charging. The vanilla OPPO Reno10 5G unit supports 67W SUPERVOOC flash charging, which can take the battery to 31% in 10 minutes.

With OPPO’s proprietary Battery Health Engine, which monitors and optimizes the battery performance and lifespan based on your usage habits, the battery durability of all three smartphones should last up to four years.

Powering the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, so expect blazing-fast performance and smooth multitasking. The other two models use a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor for great efficiency and performance without sacrificing battery life.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G are available in Glossy Purple and Silvery Gray color variants, with the latter enhanced with the signature OPPO Glow Design to make it radiate when light reflects on it. The OPPO Reno10 5G, on the other hand, comes in eye-catching scratch- and fingerprint-resistant finishes of Ice Blue and Silvery Gray.
