The Internet is abuzz with leaks of a gaming-focused Infinix smartphone that’s reportedly launching globally in August.
(Update, August 3: The Infinix GT 10 pro is now official!)
According to the rumors, the Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G will debut as the world’s first handset with 26GB RAM, topping the list of phones with the most RAM — assuming they are referring to the physical kind, of course. The current record holder is the RedMagic 8S Pro Plus at 24GB. Recall that the latter became official as one of the first non-Samsung mobiles that use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 processor.
Word has it that the Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G is packed with a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, 256GB of storage, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 7,000mAh battery, and a rear-camera setup that consists of a 100-megapixel main and two 8-megapixel secondary sensors. There are supposedly two variants — one that supports up to 160 watts of fast charging and a version that tops up at 260 watts.

Alleged key specs of the Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G
Earlier, the smartphone was shown in renders looking like Nothing phones, what with its Nothing-like semi-transparent design. Good timing marketing-wise, we think, because the Nothing Phone 2 just launched. You can find one more of the published images below.
We wonder if the Infinix GT 10 Pro, or its supposed Pro Plus version, is coming to the Philippines. But yeah, we are getting ahead of ourselves. Just go announce the device first, Infinix Mobile, heh.
