Following the local launch of the TECNO SPARK 10 5G, TECNO Mobile is set to announce a new 5G smartphone in the Philippines.

A banner for the TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G has surfaced on the brand’s official Lazada store, revealing that the handset will be “coming soon” to the local market. It also advertises some of the phone’s key specs, including its chipset and display, as well as its design, which moves away from the colorful aesthetic of last year’s TECNO CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian Edition.

The TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G sports a faux-leather back with geometric shapes in black and blue colorways. A pentagon-shaped camera module houses three cameras, including a 64-megapixel RGBW sensor with optical image stabilization that can shoot 4K videos. The primary shooter is accompanied by a pair of 2-megapixel sensors for portrait and macro shots. For selfies, you get a 32-megapixel camera with dual flash.
Inside, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip, which is built on a 6nm process and comes with a 5G modem. It also packs four Cortex-A78 performance cores operating at up to 3GHz or 2.6GHz alongside four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores for basic smartphone tasks. A Mali-G77 GPU with nine cores is in charge of graphics.
If you’ve been keeping tabs on recent smartphone news, you might have noticed that the Dimensity 8050 is identical to MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 and 1200 chips, right down to the cores and clock speeds. The TECNO CAMON 20 Premier 5G uses the same processor as well. Other notable specs of the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that runs up to 120Hz and a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 33-watt fast charging.
In Nigeria, the phone is priced at ₦199,900 (around P24,220 or $434).
There’s no word yet if the Premier model will also become available in the Philippines, but company’s Lazada store does show a TECNO CAMON 20 series banner as well.
