Xiaomi has finally announced its latest Redmi Note 12 series in the Philippines. The Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G will go on sale on the local market, with preorders going live from April 15 to April 21.

Locally, the Redmi Note 12 lineup is priced as follows:

Those who purchase the standard model during the preorder period will receive a free Xiaomi 22.5W Power Bank with a 10,000mAh battery, while the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G will be bundled with Redmi’s Buds 3 Lite TWS earphones.

The Redmi Note 12 is the first phone on the market with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset. It’s basically an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 680, which powers last year’s Redmi Note 11 and Samsung Galaxy A23, among other devices. Its Cortex-A73 CPU runs up to 2.8GHz, up from the Snapdragon 680’s 2.4GHz high-performance core.
The device also comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel main camera coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It is available in Onyx Gray, Mint Green, and Ice Blue colors.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G share similar designs, identical displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 5G chip under the hood. Both phones get a 5,000mAh battery, too, with the Redmi Note 12 Pro charging at up to 67 watts. The Plus variant, on the other hand, upgrades to 120-watt fast charging using the included GaN charger.
Unlike the regular Pro model, which is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G boasts a flagship-level 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPX primary sensor that supports 16-in-1 binning into one large 2.24μm pixel. The 1/1.4-inch sensor brings QPD autofocus as well and is capable of staggered HDR, 14-bit color depth, and taking full 200-megapixel images with 0.56μm pixels.
Both devices in the series will be available in Polar White, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue colors.
