The realme C55 has solidified its status as one of the most stylish budget smartphones released in the Philippines this year with the debut of its Rainforest variant on TikTok.

Recall that the realme C55 was initially available in Rainy Night and Sunshower colors when it was introduced in the Philippines earlier this month. It’s also the first Android device we’ve reviewed that mimics Apple’s Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro models to some degree. The company has dubbed it Mini Capsule. It sits on the front camera cutout and shows the phone’s charging status, step count, walking distance, and other potentially useful information.
The realme C55 also packs a relatively bright 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. You get an 8-megapixel camera up front for selfies, too.
Around the back, the rear camera sports a 64-megapixel image sensor coupled with a depth sensor for portrait to help the main camera take portrait-style shots with a smooth bokeh effect.
Inside, the realme C55 runs the latest realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 4G chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast charging over USB-C. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
